FLYING TO COLUMBIA. You can flight directly into and out of Columbia Regional Airport from either Dallas/Fort-Worth or Chicago O'Hare. You can take a taxi or shuttle from the airport into the city, which will cost about $20–25 and take 15 minutes. Click here for a list of taxis and shuttles.

FLYING TO ST. LOUIS OR KANSAS CITY. The airports in St. Louis and Kansas City are about 120 miles (190 km) from Columbia, about 2 hours by shuttle. There are two shuttle services based in Columbia: MoX serves both St. Louis and Kansas City (a round-trip ride booked online will cost about $100), and EZGO Bus serves St. Louis (a round-trip ride booked oline will cost about $70). Bus service is also available to and from Columbia on Greyhound and Megabus.

PARKING IN COLUMBIA. If you have a car in Columbia (either your own or a rental), are staying in an off-campus hotel, and would like to park close to the conference venues each morning, you can purchase a parking permit during during the registration process. The permit costs $12 and will be good for the duration of the conference. Please note: The walk from the hotel to general/symposium session venue is half a mile (0.8 km). The walk from the parking garage is 0.1 miles (0.16 km). Also, if you are staying in the residence halls, you can purchase a parking permit ($4 per day) by cash or check directly from the residence hall desk upon reception.

TRAVEL SUPPORT. The Society has set aside funds to support the travel of conference attendees with financial hardships. During the registration process, you will have an opportunity to request travel support and to provide a justification. At this time, however, we cannot guarantee how much support any particular applicant will receive.
